¡Ven con nosotros a explorar el encantador Lago Esmeralda, cerca de Ushuaia, la ciudad más austral en Argentina. Prepárate para caminar por un mágico bosque nativo y relajarte junto a un crepitante fuego en un acogedor domo de montaña!

Tu viaje comienza en la Ruta Nacional 3, llevándote hacia las puertas de Ushuaia. El monte Olivia y el monte 5 Hermanos guían tu camino. Profundamente en un valle de tierra, comenzaremos nuestra caminata de 5 km (10 km ida y vuelta) hacia un paraíso montañoso impresionante.

Tallados por glaciares antiguos, los valles que exploraremos revelan su historia en los vibrantes tonos de los lagos glaciares. Después de una charla informativa sobre el uso de crampones y bastones, nos adentramos en el bosque subantártico, un paisaje una vez moldeado por leñadores y ahora un refugio para castores.

Nuestro viaje culmina en la laguna donde, dependiendo de la temporada, podría transformarse en un maravilloso mundo congelado. Con la aprobación de tu guía, incluso puedes caminar sobre el hielo, ¡una experiencia verdaderamente emocionante!

Después de una larga y gratificante caminata, nuestro domo acogedor espera, ofreciendo un cálido fuego para derretir el frío. Un guiso de montaña, conversación amistosa y experiencias compartidas completan la experiencia restauradora. My name is Pedro (Peter) Lima. I was born in Ushuaia, in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. I always felt passion for adventure sports, like climbing, trekking, snowboarding. Also water sports and whichever activity practiced in natural environments that require the body to perform them.

All along the way in natural environments took me from being an eager adventurer to a skilled guide, looking forward for safety at my job.

Adventure sports are to me the greatest happiness expressions in the world, yet, the curiosity and desire to move forward, improving myself have shown to me that there is always something more to do, this to be the reason I reached to Mendoza, cradle of Argentinean mountaineering. Here I found the chance to make this sport, my life style, studying and training constantly in “First Aids”, “Leadership”, “Logistics and Management”. I professionally formed myself at EPGAMT.

As Superior Technician in Mountain Activities, specialized in Trekking guiding, I am trained to develop myself in the wilderness, self sufficiently, working with groups, organizations or any entity who offers mountain activities.

I constantly find myself improving my skills in planning, group leading, traverses, exploration, expeditions and ascensions through the whole Argentinean territory and neighbor countries.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.
