Descripción

Si vienes a Ushuaia, en la Patagonia argentina, ¡Laguna Turquesa es una visita obligada!

Situada cerca de la ciudad de Ushuaia en Tierra del Fuego, la provincia más austral de Argentina, esta caminata conduce a la impresionante Laguna Turquesa. En medio de las montañas, este lago está ubicado en un entorno natural maravilloso y ofrece una vista increíble. Te invito a descubrirla en este programa de 1 día.

Primero, partiremos de Ushuaia a las 8.30 am e iremos al punto de partida de nuestra caminata. Desde allí, cruzaremos un hermoso bosque andino y, después de una caminata ardua, llegaremos a la Laguna Turquesa. Una vez allí, disfrutaremos de la escalada en roca y observaremos el increíble paisaje que nos rodea. Tendremos la oportunidad de ver Laguna Esmeralda desde un punto de vista especial. Después, almorzaremos y regresaremos a la ciudad. Estaremos de vuelta alrededor de las 2 pm.

Por favor, ten en cuenta que, aunque la caminata no es demasiado desafiante, es importante tener un buen nivel de forma física. Para la escalada, no es obligatorio tener experiencia previa. Durante la caminata, cubriremos una distancia de 4 kilómetros y enfrentaremos un desnivel de alrededor de 400 metros.

I´m a lover of the mountains, Andes and Patagonia. I live in Ushuaia - Argentina. I study tecnicature of mountain guide in Mendoza. I´m a member of AAGM.

I started guiding in 2010 and i haven´t stoped since then. My team and I working all around the andes on this latitudes all year long.

Gabriel was a terrific guide for Cinco Hermanos, which provides amazing views of Ushuaia and the surrounding mountain ridges and valleys. After a pleasant trail through the forest, you cross the main creek and ascend the benches below the peaks. After that we enjoyed terrific alpine climbing with steep snow, sometimes greater than 50 degrees. Route finding was a bit challenging, and the selection of the right gulley can greatly determine which hermano you are climbing. We ultimately summitted Hermano Cinco. Ghanks to Gabriel for sharing so much information about the mountains and culture of the region.

I came here at the end of Winter, so it was still snowing and the lake was unfortunately frozen with snow on top. However, the hike had amazing views with a very knowledgeable Guide. Pick up was on time and all information was given to me as needed. Highly recommend.
