Keep in mind that there are different routes to climb this mountain and this will determine your trip's length. Climbing Aconcagua can take between 12 and 24 days depending on the itinerary and acclimatization options.
During the 2023/24 South American summer, the Aconcagua summit climbing season will only run from January to February. Treks in the region and to the base camp will run normally from November (when Argentina will be opening for foreign visitors) to the end of the park season in March.
