I think Ryuta is a great guide. The tour was quite nice. I loved the lines we did. It would've been 5 stars if his English was better but his assistant guide was of great help especially in communication. Otherwise, I felt quite safe with him and his abilities

Just back from Hakuba –Japan and I’m so pleased to confirm we got such a great experience with Iwao who has provided a service above all expectations. Indeed assisting a family confronted to a new environment requires a certain level of patience and attention and all the family appreciated his sense of responsibilities and seriousness which allowed us to really enjoy this region by experiencing touring, hicking and of course skiing in immaculate powder. Iwao was very discreet but always acted to ensure we could take the best of all Hakuba mountains could offer to us during these 5 days. This experience will for sure remain in all our minds for long and this will be mainly thanks to Iwao ! Best, Arnaud

Overall it was a really enjoyable hike. Guide Tadashi was knowledgeable and guided us in being equipped with the appropriate gear as it was our first time hiking in snow. It was especially tranquil during the off season period, and the views were magnificent.

From the outset of our journey to the summit of Mt. Fuji, Tadashi proved to be an exceptional guide. His meticulous attention to detail was evident as he provided thorough instructions and assisted us with arranging all the necessary rental equipment for the climb. This preparation made us feel confident and ready to tackle the challenge ahead. Tadashi's commitment to safety and his considerate nature shone through as he allowed us to set our pace, especially when the altitude made breathing difficult. His ability to adapt to our needs without compromising safety was truly commendable. Moreover, Tadashi's kindness extended beyond the mountain; he offered us convenient transportation to and from Mt. Fuji, adding a layer of comfort and ease to our adventure. Throughout the climb, he was not just our guide but also an excellent photographer. He captured countless memorable moments, including a very special one—my proposal to my girlfriend (now my fiancée). Tadashi managed to capture the proposal in stunning detail, which made our engagement even more memorable. Choosing Tadashi as our guide was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our climb. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine care are what make him stand out. If you're seeking a guide who will not only ensure your safety but also enhance your experience with heartfelt dedication, Tadashi Terada is the one you want by your side on Mt. Fuji.

Tadashi Terada is an excellent guide. I asked him to take me up Mount Fuji by the Subashiri Trail in early May 2024, when there was still 1000 meters of snow and ice on the mountain and the trail ropes were buried. Tadashi was patient, professional, careful, loyal, funny, and excellent at route-finding (we descended through the snowfield and bush zone after dark because of my slow pace). The travel, food and lodging arrangements which Tadashi made after picking me up in Tokyo were also first rate. I very highly recommend him as a guide and person.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
